So… What’s Actually Inside?
It’s one of the questions we get asked most about our Advent Calendars, and normally, we’re very good at not answering it. The candy inside each year’s calendar stays a secret because opening a new cube every day and discovering what’s waiting inside is half the fun.
But once an Advent season is over? Fair game.
We’ve created this sweet little archive so you can look back at the candies featured in past Sugar Cube Advent Calendars. You won’t find this year’s spoilers here, just a peek at what each candy looked like, some details, and which day it appeared.
Every year’s lineup is different, but if you’ve ever wondered what kind of candy might be hiding inside those cubes, this is a pretty good place to start.
A year of sweet surprises and wonderfully weird discoveries.
Inside the 2025 Advent Calendar
Our 2025 lineup was a little bit fruity, a little bit sour, and occasionally a little bit weird. We had some fantastic candy finds from Italy, four different filled gummies, and one of our personal favourites, Frozen Blue Sharks! And no, they're not your typical blue raspberry gummies. These beauties are a delicious combination of cherry, lemon-lime and blue raspberry.
And then there were the hard-boiled eggs. We were genuinely shocked by how BIG they were! But once you got past the fact that you were eating something that looked suspiciously like an actual egg, the strawberries and cream flavour was SO good.
From familiar favourites to some wonderfully unexpected discoveries, 2025 gave us plenty to talk about, and even more to snack on.

Inside the 2024 Advent Calendar
Our 2024 lineup was bursting with fruity flavours, colourful creations and some seriously good candy discoveries. Watermelon Lime Bites were brand new to us that year, and WOW, are we glad we found them! There simply isn't enough lime-flavoured candy in the world, so these were an especially exciting addition.
Then there were the Party Pigs! These adorable little pig-faced gummies packed multiple fruity flavours into every bite, with a wonderfully soft, chewy texture. Honestly, they had no business being that cute AND that delicious.
The Tropical Frogs were a fan favourite, and even the Apple Sours managed to win us over. Which, coming from someone who doesn't particularly love green apple candy, is saying something!
And with everything from Fried Potatoes and Gnarly Grapes to Cream Soda Floats and Banana Runts, 2024 certainly wasn't short on personality.
Some candies were instant favourites, others were completely new discoveries.
